Today we went to visit Senegal for a safari trip in the safari park in Fathala. From Banjul we had to take the ferry to Barra across the river Gambia. It is nice to see how the local people do their daily routine.
On the other site of the river there was a safari jeep ready for the pickup. These trucks give a good opportunity to view the animals form all around. With a nice open top you can stand up and enjoy the view of the animals. It also gives you the opportunity to make some good photo’s of the animals.
It was a nice trip with a lot of great animals like antilope, giraffe and zebra’s. Unfortunately the rhino did not show! Maybe next time!
